Best place to buy fishing lures online?
Rapalas, Blue Fox and Mepps Spinners, other tackle. I just spent $120 at Cabela’s and I feel like I got nothing. Is it cheaper somewhere online?

Ebay is awesome for a variety of different lures and other gear. I buy almost ALL my soft plastics from Ebay now and quite a few other misc lures, (depending on what I need and whats being sold at the time).
It’s WELL WORTH the hassle of setting up an Ebay account and a Paypal account!
I’ve saved THOUSANDS of dollars by purchasing lures, used REELS, and even rods.
If your not familiar with Ebay let me give you some advice:
1. I (personally) will NOT buy from people overseas. The odds that you will get scammed or your item gets broken or lost in the mail is too high of a risk for me. Other people I know have had good results, but I’ve found there are PLENTY of GREAT deals here in the US, (and in Canada).
2. Don’t buy from anyone who has a feedback score lower than 99%, (period). ALWAYS check EVERYONE’S feedback score before buying.
3. Ask Q’s if you need to. If the seller never responds, be leery of that seller.
4. READ CAREFULLY what you are buying.
5. Don’t “pre-bid”. Wait til the LAST 5-10 secs to bid. You will win more auctions this way.
6. Make sure to check the SHIPPING cost. Some sellers will diminish the actual price of an item and charge outrageous shipping…….. Like a Lucky Craft Pointer for $1 with $20 shipping.
7. Be leery of sellers with over 10,000 sales. You will NOT get as good a service from people/Ebay shops that have a tremendous amount of customers.
If you follow these 7 rules 99.9% of your Ebay experiences will be good.
