
The Columbia the place to be for fall chinook
There are plenty of fishing activities around the state, but the top choice this week is the Buoy-10 salmon fishery off the Columbia River mouth. “It’s starting to pick up at Buoy-10, and Oregon (Fish and Wildlife) reported almost half a fish per rod during the last couple of days,” said Joe Hymer, a state Fish and Wildlife biologist.
